Throughout his career, Armstrong traveled extensively on tour, visiting countries in Europe, Asia, and Africa to play jazz to adoring fans. Armstrong's collaborations with artists such as Duke Ellington, Bing Crosby, and Ella Fitzgerald cemented his status as a cultural and musical icon. His popularity and influence went beyond jazz, influencing both popular culture and the Harlem Renaissance.
